School of Social Sciences

The School of Social Sciences at City University London provides a rigorous and challenging educational environment where the student is placed squarely at the heart of all that we do. The diversity of our programmes of study provides rigorous, challenging and high quality education for our students and the organisations that will employ them in business and the professions.

The School of Social Sciences brings together more than 1,500 staff and students in a landmark building in Central London. Here we offer sophisticated, modern facilities for teaching, learning and research including computing and experiential laboratories.

Academic strengths
Our areas of excellence cover Economics, International Politics, Psychology and Sociology and we strive at all times to deliver the highest standards of service and teaching. Our courses undergo rigorous periodic review and are in continual development to ensure that the knowledge and research we use to teach is up to date and relevant.
